A Super ride today.. Felt really good , and went around the Wirral lanes to start as I left at just before 7 , so everywhere nice and quiet for a change .. Went to Lower and Higher Kinnerton, Hope, then over the Steps which I rode real well and caught and dropped three guys …then the “beast” that is World’s End .. 7 degrees iver there today and rain in the air … Down my favourite lane into LLangollen and then a right , over the Horseshoe Pass, a great descent down the Nant-y-Garth and on to Ruthin … A really zippy climb of the Bwlch and then a left over towards Cilcain and I rear wheel punctured and then the valve broke , so took a lot longer than I wanted .. But I tanked on, over Cilcain, the Rhosesmor Climbs and into The Green and down through Connahs Quay and onto the bike path to the top road, past the Yacht a few ducks and dives and then home for 104 miles and a smile on my face .. LOVED IT !! It’ll be onto the Turbo this evening to take the pain out of lactic loaded legs !!
