ADRIAN PHELAN joined Dave last winter as a Triathlete who wanted to improve greatly on his bike times... He comes from a running background and is a good Triathlete, but his cycling was letting him down..
His best time for the 40 Km split was much too slow and his best ever 25 mile TT was a 1.07... WELL LAST NIGHT HE IMPROVED BY NINE MINTES to produce his first sub 1 hour 25 with an astounding 58'50".... WHAT CAN YOU SAY ADRIAN... JUST ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT !!!
CAROLE GANDY is unstoppable at the shorter distances this year, when she yet again defied her 65 years to produce a magnificent 10 mile TT on Saturday with an amazing time of 22'52".. You're supposed to get slower at the shorter TT's Carole.. BUT DON'T TELL ANYONE !!
JULIE COOK also bashed out a quicker 22 minute 10 on Saturday with a 22'17" to win her event by OVER ONE MINUTE.... GETTING SET FOR THE CIRCUIT CHAMPS NOE JULIE...
FIONA DUNCAN ALSO produced a fast 10 in Scotland last Tuesday with yet another PB when she turned out a great 23'30" and finished second in her event.. FLYING THIS YEAR FIONA!
