BEATEN UP BY MY OWN ATHLETES !!!
Yesterday I rode the Geoff Thomas Sportive with Kara Chesworth and Alli Holland and , honestly.... THEY BEAT ME UP... We absolutely hammered through the field by starting at the back, but these two demon girls had me blitzed on the climbs and , I have to say, I have NEVER RIDDEN WITH TWO STRONGER GIRLS SO EQUALLY MATCHED.... I know it's my own fault as I have coached them to get to where they are.. But, flipping heck.. Talk about "take no prisoners!!" Special, special, special... That's all I can say about these two...
In truth , it was a whole lot of fun and they really worked me over as I was definitely "on a bad day".. That's my story and I'm bloody sticking to it.. (NB.. I have actually been to see the docs since and found I have a low grade virus that is lurking around.. You feel normal under "normal" circumstances, but it can really effect you when you push yourself... It's the immune system telling you off !!.. So be careful out there.. I (and you) can tell by your heart rate.. Mine was 180 and over on all the climbs on Sunday where it's normally low 170's, which is HIGHLY unusual.. So if you see anything like that.. BACK OFF for a few days guys.. It's been a lesson to me..)
BUT, WHAT A PAIR OF ATHLETES... IF SOME BIG TEAM DOESN'T TAKE THESE TWO GIRLS ON FOR 2011 ... THEY ARE MISSING OUT... BIG STYLE !!
THESE TWO GIRLS SEEM TO FEED OFF EACH OTHER'S ENTHUSIAM AND I HAVE NEVER WITNESSED ANYTHING LIKE IT BEFORE....
SOME TEAM.... "MUST"... SIGN THESE TWO TERRIFIC, UNBELIEVABLY STRONG ATHLETES FOR 2011... OTHERWISE SOME TEAM IS GOING TO MISS OUT.. AND HOW!!!
I'VE BEEN IN THIS GAME A LONG TIME, AND I'VE NEVER BEEN BEATEN UP BY TWO FEMALE ATHLETES BEFORE....
