IT'S BEEN A GREAT START TO THE YEAR FOR MANY OF DAVE'S ATHLETES, AND CAROLE GANDY IS HAVING ONE OF HER BEST YEARS YET....
Carole won two Vets events last Saturday and Sunday... She did an amazing 23'53" in the Shaftsbury 10 on Saturday and then a great 1.02.58 in the Wigmore 25 next day...GREAT PREP FOR THE ANFIELD CAROLE ...
Julie Cook got a great third in the Rudy Project...Coming off the back of a superb win in the Bedford 2-Day, Julie got her TT bike out on Sunday and finished a great third to Michelle King in the Rudy Project...GREAT RIDE JULIE !
Derek Cambell also got a super result in the Vets Rudy Project on the same course... Derek is improving week by week and this was a fabulous effort to get top ten in such a big event with a great 56'22".. KEEP IT GOING DEREK ....
Dom Icely has been doing some excellent rides in Sportives.. He got his Gold Medal in the Princes Risborogh 80 and then another Gold in the Hampshire Hilly... WELL DONE DOM...
IN THE TOUR OF IRELAND DAVE'S GUYS HAD A BALL WITH OUTSTANDING RIDES BY JIM DOYLE, DON LINEHAN AND BRETT HEDGES... YOU GUYS ARE FANTASTIC.. DAVE JUST WISHES HE HAD BEEN THERE...
HEATHER GREENING DID AN AWESOME RIDE IN THE "FRED WHITTON", WITH NO HELP AND BY HERSELF ALMOST THE WHOLE WAY, SHE JUST MISSED A SUB 7 HOUR RIDE WITH A 7.05... BRILLIANT EFFORT ON THOSE DAMN HILLS HEATHER ....
Kara Chesworth did a super ride in the Straiton Womens National Series.. She was the strongest rider in the field, but as a novice made some tactical errors which cost her the win.. KEEP ATTACKING THEM THOUGH KARA !!
