COACHING PRICE INCREASES ...

I have not increased my coaching prices for a full TEN YEARS! Ever since I started my coaching business with Chris in fact. So, after much thought and looking at the way our overheads have increased over that time, (SCARY), I have decided that, as from today, I am going to increase my prices slightly. You can see all of these increases on my "Services" site on my web.. I think this is a fair thing to do, as I am still well below the prices of some "Top Coaches" out there...
Just lately, I have done some Ramp tests and Consultations with guys who are leaving certain coaches ... I would NEVER bad mouth any other coaches as all my athletes know and , anyway, that would be unprofessional and I really don't worry what they do.. I will always do my coaching my way and they can do things "their" way! BUT, I have been absolutely astounded at the prices some of these coaches are charging for their services.
I keep seeing this "Gold" , "Silver" and "Bronze" one to one coaching which I find completely bizarre. How can you "grade" one to one coaching.. To me, one to one coaching is just that and I just do NOT see how you can "grade" that fundemental principle!! Also some coaches are charging OVER £350 per month for this service and most are over £250 ... I have also seen what some of these coaches give to their athletes as prescribed training and I have been apalled to be perfectly honest.. Some even limit the number of phone calls or emails from their athletes .... WHAT ???
I am therefore putting my One to One coaching up to £120 per month and subsequent Ramp tests are £60... Other increases can be seen on my "Services" site.. I still believe this is fantastic value for your money, as I still believe there is not one coach out there with my track record. That may sound like me larging myself up... BUT IT'S A FACT !
Which other coach has, IN ONE YEAR, taken a 60 year old woman , who had tried to win the British Best All Rounder for 25 years , to her first win in that competiton (the oldest person EVER to do so!) and also win the 100 mile National Championship in the same year?... Taken a girl who had never ridden a Track bike to National and World Cup Champion in the 3,000 metre Individual Pursuit within that year? Taken a guy who's goals were to beat a 20 minute 10 mile TT, a 50 minute 25 mile TT, a 1.45 minute 50 mile TT and finish in the top ten of a National Championship, to a 19'22" for the 10, a 49'10" for the 25, a 1.43 for the 50 and 3rd in the National 50 in the same year!!
Which other coach would (or be able to !) take their charges out for a Sunday ride on any Sunday during the essential Winter Period for absolutely NO COST ? I could go on, but I'm sure you are getting the picture and why I get angry when I see what some coaches are doing for twice what I charge...
