DAVE RODE THE WHOLE OF THE CUMBRIAN KILLER LAST SUNDAY, AN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB COURSE, HATCHED BY TERRY BELL...
Dave was well impressed with the route for the "Dave Lloyd Cumbrian Killer" in September this year when he rode over the course last Sunday...The course was devised by Terry Bell, who is from the area and he obviously knows the roads VERY well.. This is one EXCELLENT Sportive course and VERY hard... Dave believes it's as hard if not harder than the "Dave Lloyd Mega Challenge" as the "Fearsome" climbs of the HardKnott, the Wrynose and the Struggle come at you in very quick succession and they really sap the legs as the course is far from flat before the HardKnott is reached after 50 miles...
BUT... IT'S A CRACKER !! The weather was fantastic last Sunday and the scenery is enough to take your breath away.. JUST STUNNING... If you want a challenge on the 20th of September this year... ENTER THIS EVENT... You will love it !!
