DAVE "says",,,
"I got back from Denia on Saturday night and , boy, am I tired... BUT, what a fantastic week we all had. There were 32 athletes on the Camp this year and the range of abilities was huge.
But, everyone found their "level" and we had a group with it's leader for each day with me moving from group to group, trying my best to give good advise and giving talks most evenings an a range of topics. We also had time to do some specific skills, such as descending and through and off training.
John Fegan did a fabulous job with the logistics of each day's ride and the variety of terrain was , well, AMAZING!! The weather was great all bar one day and everyone had a whale of a time and learnt a lot and went home fitter and stronger for sure..
The hardest day was recorded on my Garmin as 93 miles at 18 MPH with 6,800 feet of climbing and my heart rate up to 177 BPM on several occasions with an average HR of 134 BPM.... OUCH!!!
The feed back has been nothing but positive and everyone seems to want to repeat the Camp next year if not before.
What can I say.. This was a"proper" Training Camp and something I've been aiming at for the last 5 years.. I just hate those "Training Holidays" where everyone seems to use them to go out on the lash every night... That's not for me or the athletes I coach!! I think this year we at last got it just about right!
HAPPY DAYS !!"

Last week was one of the best trips I've had and wishing I was still there.
I am definitely looking to go back at end of May for a week or two if work permits.
Was good to spend some face to face time with you, as well as getting to know some of the other athletes you coach. Great bunch of people with a diverse range of abilities.
Back to the weather in blighty and the dreaded turbo trainer...
I think John did a tremendous job especially as there was such a mix of abilities and personalities. Janelle and I both thought the week was very successful and we are still smiling about the rides we did and places we saw.
Thanks and Regards

Hi Dave
One again, many thanks for last week. I had a really good time and feel that the week really brought me on as a bike rider. Throughout the week I felt myself getting stronger and extended my limits again. It also opened my eyes from a mental perspective, seeing what is possible with a little hard work. I now once again have my motivation and hunger to head into the new seaon with confidence.
Hope all is well.
Cheers, Chris

Dave
I really enjoyed spending time with you. It was wonderful to get to know you.
The camp was a great success for me. I impressed myself with what I can do with proper training and now have even more motivation to improve
It was hard and I am tired. But invigorated.
An easy week this week makes sense.
Thanks again for last week.
Lyndon.
