WELL, IT WAS A FANTASTIC WEEK FOR WEATHER.... AND RESULTS..
COLM CASSIDY did two great rides.. he won a big event in the local Track League in the week with stiff competition and at the weekend he WON the big Road race from a three man break, .. He formed the break, then attacked with 6 k's to go to finish heroically alone by 20 seconds.. GREAT RIDES COLM.. SUPERB FORM !
CHARLIE GOODWAY finished a great runner up to Julian Ramsbottom with a super rapid 53'58"... The form is still there Charlie.. GOOD OMEN FOR THE 25 !!
MIKE CRIPPS did a superb ride in the Welsh Championships when he formed the break and then couldn't get anyone to work with him.. He did most of the work himself to stay away, and still got a GRERAT SEVENTH place in the Gallop... WELL DONE MIKE.. GREAT RIDE!!
GYLES WINGATE is starting to show the form he was getting last year in Belgium.. He has just come back from a stint in Belgium, where he has had some good results and in the BECCLES RR last week, he unleashed his power a bit late in the sprint, but still mananged to come from a boxed in 50th with 500 metres to go to finish a GREAT 8th ....THAT "SUPER-FORM" IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER GYLES !!
FIONA DUNCAN won the Ythan 10 mile TT on Saturday with a fine ride when she posted a 24'51" on this unfashionable Scots "hard" hilly course.. LOST COUNT OF THE WINS ALREADY THIS YEAR FIONA!!
CAROLE GANDY is unstoppable this year with yet another fine ride in the MALDON 50 with a superb 2.03.32 for FOURTH PLACE... KEEP THAT GOOD MORALE AND GREAT FORM CAROLE.. THE WORLDS WILL SOON COME ROUND ..
JULIE COOK took on the men in the Div Champs at the weekend and as the only woman racing, she finished well up there in 36th place.. GREAT TRAINING FOR THE NATIONALS JULIE... IT'LL PAY OFF !!
