Dave has been testing a new product from America invented by Computer Guru, John Hamann ...
Dave was SO impressed by this piece of kit, and so excited when he used it, he wanted the Distribution rights for the UK... These were granted by John, but there was a very slight snag with what was the best and cheapest Computer that gave all the info a Bike Computer Can give , including POWER and lots of new and never before used information and trick bits.
The only downside was that the batteries were not rechargable, which though not a HUGE deal, it needed addressing. Dave told John of his concerns about this and lo and behold, John is now stopping everything and is going to work on producing a Chargable unit for the iAero and iBike Pro etc. and this will be available in late July or Early August.. Dave is still using his iAero with great results and the units CAN be bought...
More news to follow very soon.. These Computers will be THE answer to working with Power (amongst all the other attributes they have) and a FRACTION of the cost of SRM's or Power Taps and do a better job... PLUS .... YOU CAN USE THE SAME UNIT ON 4-5 BIKES !!!! WOWEEEE! You'd have to invest £15,000 to do that with an SRM crank if you didn't want to change the chainset over to another bike each time you went out.. NO WAY WILL ANYONE DO THAT... So what a product this is and how User Friendly !!
Dave has been using his iAero for training around "laps", "intervals", which you can programme into the computer yourself and "hill repeats", as well as a normal computer for training rides. The Computer just gives you so much info!! The Calory count is also really accurate, and it also gives you the weather conditions for the ride, like heat, barometric presssure and wind speed...etc.etc.You can even adapt it for use on an indoor Turbo... It just does the LOT !!
