Other news to tell you is that Kara was 8th in the National Champs... An AMAZING result for someone , who, I'm sure she won't mind telling you is a 38 year old mother of three small children. Kara has fought and fought for nearly three years to get where she is today, LEADING THE WOMEN'S NATIONAL RR SERIES .... BRILLIANT !!
Also a pic is here of my new 2010 Sportive bike.. A long time coming, but the forks have finally arrived... THE BIKE WEIGHS UNDER 13 POUNDS.. UCI... GO AND RUN !!!
THIS IS THE BEST BIKE I HAVE EVER RIDDEN, BAR NONE.. I KNOW I'VE SAID THAT BEFORE ... BUT THESE GUYS KEEP BETTERING THE BEST !!! ... I THOUGHT THE LAST DIMAR WAS THE ULTIMATE... THIS IS EVEN BETTER... JUST UNBELIEVABLE WHAT THESE GUYS CAN DO !! .. UNBELIEVABLE .... NO OTHER BIKE RIDES OR FEELS THE WAY THIS BIKE RIDES AND FEELS ...
I am so pleased I have all my favourite equipment on one bike at last... The HBM frame with the new lighter Chainstays and Seatstays.. The THM-Carbones forks with concealed brakes.. SUPERB ! I also have my favourite SRAM Red Brake Levers and Gear levers , Front and Rear mech, and Cassette (THANKS TO CERI DIPPLE at 23C!!), My favourite bars by Trigon and Ritchey 73 degree stem. Also the wonderful Rotor 3-D Chainset with "Q" rings. Dura -Ace SPD SL's.... Last but by no means least the FABULOUS Lightweight Obermaur wheels shod with Conti GP4000's ..
A DREAM OF A BIKE... 12.5 POUNDS all up !! I JUST LOVE IT TO DEATH !!
