Dave Lloyd, paid, sorry, asked me to do this testimonial for him. My sports background prior to riding a bike consisted of attending some sporting event or other, consuming large quantities of larger and/or whiskey, several packets of cigarettes, followed by amnesia and large brown, green and red curry stains all over my clothes. Over the past two years I have transformed into a lean, mean, mountain eating, speed creaming, cycling machine with somewhat high mileage on the clock (60 years old next birthday).
At first, tender love and care needed to be administered due to the lack of oxygen, caused by a somewhat clogged pair of lungs. However, in the intervening period this changed to a “What the hell do I care, just get it done” attitude on behalf of Coach Lloyd. The result is my golf sticks are red with rust, my flying licence is about to expire (and I don’t care) and I have cycled up Alpe d’Huez, Mont Ventoux, The Telegraph and The Galibier. Somewhere in the background a certain Dave Lloyd had something to do with it,
