Brenda came to Dave after being with another coach who was making a complete hash of her training. One thing Dave NEVER does is bad mouth any other coach, so you will never get Dave naming names , or putting down other coaches. They can do things their way and Dave will do things his! But after Brenda joined Dave her performances went through the roof. In the first year (2004), she got a Silver Medal in the National 50 mile Championship and a second place in the Rudy Project. Then she raised the bar in 2005 and won the National WCRA Road Race Championship, won the National Champion of Champions, Beryl Burton Trophy and was second in the National 50 Championship. She also finished 3rd in the National Circuit Championship, the Rudy Project and the Ladies Team Road Race. She also PB'd at 25 miles with a superb 56'59".
Brenda was a fantastic athlete. She took a year out last year when she had to go to Canada with her husbands work. She also took the time to give birth to har first child, Charlotte. Brenda is back in the UK now and Dave is trying to persuade her to get back on her bike again. WE'LL HAVE TO "WATCH THIS SPACE" ON THAT ONE... GREAT ATHLETE THOUGH !
