Carl was Dave's first athlete to take on the one to one coaching.When he joined Dave, his best National Championship was a 40th place. After a brilliant winters build up, Carl took the next season by storm when he reached all his goals. He beat 20 minutes for a ten mile TT with a 19'34". He then did a 49'10" for a 25 mile TT and finished the year with a 1.43.43 for a 50 mile TT. Along the way, he finished 3rd in the 50 mile National Championship. The next year he finished in the top ten in all the National Championships and won the prestigious Classic "Circuit if the Dales" where he beat Gethin Butler! He is still going strong with a new PB for 10 miles in 2007 with a superb 19'18" ... THE STORY GOES ON !
