Steve is yet another promising 17 year old from Scotland, who joined Dave in the winter of 2006. His training was all over the place and his morale was pretty low as he was continually getting over trained. Dave set him a sensible winter schedule and one that a seventeen year old could handle.
He came into the 2007 season with renewed enthusiasm and has had a great year. He has taken a minute off his 10 mile time and a huge two and a half minutes off his 25 mile time. He has had a lot of top ten places in road races and has been noticed by the National Squad when he gained selection for the Scots Team on several occasions. He will be getting on the track next year too, as he shows good potential here. 2008 could be even better than 2007... WATCH OUT FOR STEVE!
