... at Breda in Holland . A really lavish "do". That's my old pal Bert Pronk on my left. He was a great guy and sadly dead now, as are 4 of my ex team mates. They all died too young and I'm afraid it's a statistic we can't be very proud of ... VERY sad but Very true!
The guy on my right is Piet van Katwijk ... great hair! The pic is of me talking Dutch to a famous Dutch TV presenter. I could speak fluent Dutch back then. I wanted to be completely assimilated into the team and Chris and I lived over there and all our Team talks were by Post and all in Dutch, so you had to learn.
I think that is fair enough. OK it was a British sponsored team, but it was managed by a Dutchman in Holland ... Learn the language!!
